So the school holidays have arrived again!!, We are as usual busy running around trying to do everything!!, We have loads more projects on going at the moment with lots of new plans for the shop in the next few months so keep watching this site .
We are really struggling for space at the shop as we want to stock everything and theres just not enough space, how we ever managed before the extension was built i really don't know.
On the breeding side we have lots of eggs off our dart frogs in the shop so fingers crossed they hatch into tadpoles and grow into more little poison arrow's .
Kyle has loads of new egg sacs on the way with a avicularia metallica one due to hatch next week we haven't bred this species before so should be intresting .
We have had one baby Pygmy Hedgehog been born a couple of weeks ago they must be one of the cutest babies around will put pics on when its out of the nest

As many of our customers may know we have kept pygmy hedgehogs for a number of years now, but are now thinking about selling exotic mammals in the shop. We have been purchasing more hedgehogs for breeding and also some short tailed oppossums. We are wondering what peoples thoughts are on these please feel free to email us with your opinions.
Have had some nice beardies hatch today they are normal cross fire and ice. another Trinidad chevron sac has been produced!! there will be a large order of spiders arriving next week including the spectacular p.metallica. Feel free to email me for a list of whats coming.

The next Trindad Chevrons are now slings so have some more ready for sale soon at £5 each , there was exactly 100 in the egg sac but they were much bigger slings than last time some are nearly double in size from the last time!
We will be shut this sunday as we always attend the I.H.S shows, have been members of this for a while now and is nice to catch up with friends and have a look round.

Thank goodness we've had some warmer weather at last we've managed to send out all the Tarantulas that were waiting to go out to customers but couldn't due to the overnight frosts, Tarantulas are still probably our best seller with more and more being sent out thru the post to people all over the country
The baby Chameleons are eating so much now we are struggling to produce enough flies for them all they should be ready for their new homes in a couple more weeks
Our Emperor Scorpion gave birth yesterday to we think at least 14 huge babies we saw her giving birth to the last few , their all now on her back they are such a funny sight all on her will try and get some pics up of her with them all
The local neighbour hood is all discussing about the new supermarket development set to open opposite us at Severn Trent and Focus it looks really good and should be of benefit to all local treaders in the area with a huge free shopping carpark for all and new walkways and pedestrian crossings for the area

12/4/10 An eventful week!!
Kyle has had the trinidad chevron female, the mother to our current slings now double clutched!!! and he also has another one ready to pop. we have visited the newark show that took place on sunday 11th april. it was a really good show and kyle was lucky enough to pick up two adult female singapore blues to pair up with his mature male so hopefully we should have our own singapore slings in the next few months.
our crested geckos also laid us two lovely big eggs this week and we now have 37 chameleons hatched out, they are everywhere and already growing so fast they should be available in the next 6-7 weeks.

07/03/10
We never seem to get the time to come on here and do a blog do we
We have had a really good last 2 weeks they have probably been our busiest for Tarantulas and Reptiles since we started, We have sold loads of Tarantulas from our last delivery , we seem to be sending more and more through the post these days we just need the warmer weather to come as its really risky to send out with all this cold weather
We had our Baby Fire and Ice x Americian red Beardies hatch we lost one shortly after hatching but the other 2 are doing really weel and eating loads!!
Kyle has been busy breeding loads of Tarantulas we hopefully have 2 gravid p.rufilata , 2 p.cambredgei, 2 h.gigas, 1 p.murinus, so we be busy in the next following months
We seem to be having more and more new customers coming in alot are from recommendations from friends which is really nice and thanks to all our customers for doing this it means alot to have people think highly of us , We unfortunatly have also had alot of people in that have been given very bad advice from other shops to the point of being sold wrong products that could be detremential to the animals health , we always advise people to do as much research before purchasing an animal but we are always here to help and offer advice if needed
hope to see you soon
